"It is a great and humbling honor to be awarded the 'Distinguished Judicial Officer of the Year' award for 2019. The AAML Fellows are among the most highly skilled and respected family law attorneys in Los Angeles and nationwide. I would like to dedicate this award to the families we serve, in particular the children. Every day, I seek to be conscious of my implicit and explicit biases, to self-monitor and to continue to educate myself not just on the law but on ways to better help our families thrive in the next chapter of their lives."
