Recruitment Coordinator for Career Services

Southwestern Law School welcomes applications for the position of Recruitment Coordinator from qualified candidates. The Recruitment Coordinator will report to the Associate Dean for Career Services, and serves as the interdepartmental liaison between administration, students and employers.  The Recruitment Coordinator will organize and manage Southwestern’s various recruitment platforms, including Fall and Spring on-campus interview programs, and research, analyze, and submit bi-yearly reports to the Associate Dean for Career Services. This is an on-campus position with some remote work available.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Conduct information sessions for students.
  • Recruit and register employers for recruitment programs.
  • Review and assemble student application materials for employers.  
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews (both in-person and virtually).
  • Coordinate and facilitate Southwestern’s annual Mock Interview Program.
  • Maintain and update the employer database on Symplicity and create employer outreach campaigns.
  • Supervise job postings through Symplicity.
  • Post jobs through Symplicity as overflow support for Student Services Assistant.
  • Conduct informal individual student advising regarding recruitment and application materials.
  • Actively seek employment opportunities for students and alumni, including periodic mass employer outreach, communication with employers, and reviewing online sources for job opportunities.
  • Promote job and externship opportunities, networking events, and other items of interest via email to students.
  • Run, edit, and manage employer, student, and alumni reports on Symplicity.
  • Communicate routinely with the CSO Team regarding marketing jobs to students and alumni.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience  with recruitment, marketing, and/or human resources

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong and professional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with law students, lawyers, and the legal community

Salary: $24.76/hr.
