DACA Renewal Applications Must Be Received By Thursday, October 5th

As the deadline loomed, free clinics were held in September at CSUN and Southwestern Law School to inform CSUN students about their rights and the process.

The Los Angeles Times interviewed Professor Julia Vasquez about the Student Legal Support Clinic, a program designed to help #DACArecipients navigate immigration issues.

“This goes over your rights to remain silent and to ask for a warrant before anyone comes inside,” she said, gesturing at a red card she instructed the student to put into his wallet.

“The number one thing I tell people is do not speak without an attorney.”
