This course introduces the law and practice of workplace investigations. Students work through the full arc of a matter, from intake and scope through investigation planning, witness interviewing, evidence gathering, credibility analysis, and the written report. The course is built around a term-long simulation in which every student holds a role in a single mock investigation and produces the work an investigator actually produces: recorded interviews, a written credibility analysis, and a final investigative report.
