Legislative History Research

Legislative history refers to all the materials considered or created by legislature in relation to a proposed law. Legislative history can provide clues to a legislature's intent, which might signal how a law should be interpreted and applied.  This course will cover materials from the federal and California legislative processes and will review best practices for tracking them down.
