Currently in his 18th year at Southwestern Law School, Robert is the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. Having previously served as the Assistant Dean, Director and Assistant Director of Student Affairs, he states to having a love and affinity for this population of students.
After completing his bachelor’s degree, Robert worked as a high school math teacher and varsity basketball coach for 4 years and transitioned to higher education in 2003 while working for the University of Southern California.
Robert received his B.A. from Pepperdine University and his M.S. and Ed.D. in Higher Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. Although he appreciates the opportunities he’s received in the field of education, Robert’s greatest accomplishment is being a father to his 3 beautiful kids – Jessica, Robert Jr. and Serena.
Robert’s time at Southwestern has been spent developing relationships with entering and current students and alums alike. His message about his time at Southwestern is as follows, “I continue to believe that I have the most rewarding job at Southwestern. From the moment a student is admitted, my job is to ensure that they love their educational experience at this law school. I could not think of a better way to spend my life supporting student success and supporting a law school that I have a deep affinity for”.
