Cindy Goldberg is the Assistant Dean for Online Education Administration at Southwestern Law School, where she oversees student resources, services and programming for the Online J.D. Program, as well as state authorizations and compliance. In this role she combines her deep commitment to law, education and community service. She is passionate about helping law students feel supported, heard and empowered to thrive academically and personally throughout their law school journey.

Before joining Southwestern, Dean Goldberg served as Assistant Dean of the Braden School of Taxation at Golden Gate University where she supported the expansion of the online graduate tax program. Prior to that, she was Associate Director of Graduate Legal Studies at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law where she worked with residential and online students in LLM and master’s degree programs.

A retired attorney, Dean Goldberg brings more than 35 years of experience in the legal field where she specialized in appeals in state and federal courts for a boutique litigation firm with a nationwide practice in Constitutional, Criminal and Civil Rights law.  She earned her B.A. from Claremont McKenna College with a double major in Political Science/Public Administration and Psychology and her J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Colorado and California (inactive) and is admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.

Dean Goldberg is a Colorado native and works remotely from Denver. Since retiring from active legal practice, Dean Goldberg has remained committed to community service through volunteer work and non-profit leadership. She has served on the boards of several civic, service, and cultural organizations, and was honored with the Wendy DeBell Exceptional Volunteer Award from the Cherry Creek School District Parents’ Council and the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation.
