Professor Rossi-Standley is an associate at Packer, O'Leary & Corson, a litigation and trial firm specializing in medical malpractice defense for healthcare providers throughout Southern California. She is also a member of the Southwestern Law School American Inn of Court.
She graduated from Southwestern Law School with a concentration in Civil Litigation and Advocacy after completing the two-year accelerated SCALE Program. As a student, she served as the first SCALE Chair of the Board for the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, a Law Review staffer, Dean's Fellow, Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant for multiple classes, and Public Service Program student leader. She was a Public Interest Law Service Award recipient, a Wildman-Schumacher Merit Scholarship recipient, and she also earned the designation of Dean’s Merit Scholar. After graduating, Professor Rossi-Standley was honored to be selected as a fellow for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Fellowship Program. ABOTA is an association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to civility in the profession and the preservation and promotion of the civil right to a jury trial.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Professor Rossi-Standley graduated magna cum laude with dual degrees from Loyola Marymount University. She was a Production Stage Manager for theatre and live events throughout Los Angeles and was the Operations Manager for a metal-finishing company in the aerospace industry.
