Professor Sleefe serves as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Law School, where she teaches the SCALE Lawyering Practicum in the Corporate Section. Her teaching draws on extensive experience as a private equity investor and M&A attorney, with a focus on corporate transactions, governance, and investment structuring.
Professor Sleefe is the Founder and CEO of Foresee Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in technology and technology-enabled companies. She has led over $6 billion in closed transaction value across more than 60 software and technology investments, spanning lower mid-market to large-cap transactions. Her experience includes end-to-end deal leadership across sourcing, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and post-close integration.
Prior to founding Foresee Capital Partners, Professor Sleefe held investing and senior leadership roles at Vista Equity Partners, Francisco Partners, and K1 Investment Management, where she originated platform investments and led post-close M&A strategies for portfolio companies. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of M&A and Integration and Chief Compliance Officer at Internet Brands, a private equity-backed operating platform, where she executed and integrated more than 40 acquisitions, including complex carveouts and joint ventures with strategic partners.
Professor Sleefe earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hofstra University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southwestern Law School, where she was actively involved in Law Review, Negotiation Honors Program, and served as a research assistant.
