Professor White currently serves as a Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for Warner Chappell Music, one of the three “major” music publishers. His responsibilities include: signing companies and songwriters to music publishing agreements; crafting and negotiating sync partnership opportunities, and; negotiating original songwriter agreements. Prior to Warner Chappell, Professor White worked as an attorney for Granderson Des Rochers, LLP where he represented A-list songwriters and recording artists.
Professor White earned his Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television Arts from California State University in Northridge. He then worked for a music rights administration company, and also ran his own business working as a band manager and concert promoter. Professor White then attended Southwestern Law School to further his career in the music business. While at Southwestern, he was a co-chair of the Negotiation Honors Program, member of Law Review, and co-president of the Music Law Society.
Professor White spends his personal time with his wife, son, and dog. He is a huge music fan and loves attending concerts. He also owns and races his own vintage race car, a 1963 Triumph Spitfire.
