Anna is an accomplished in-house attorney with 15 years of experience spanning diverse industries, including education and EdTech, FinTech, marketing and advertising, and technology. She has served as both in-house and outside counsel to businesses ranging from early-stage start-ups to national corporations. She currently holds the role of VP, Associate General Counsel at Age of Learning, a leading technology company developing innovative digital education products for young children.
Her expertise includes contract drafting and negotiation, marketing and advertising compliance, consumer protection, labor and employment, risk management, business strategy, privacy and data security, and emerging issues in artificial intelligence. She regularly supports a wide spectrum of transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters, bringing a practical, business-minded approach to complex legal challenges.
Deeply committed to the Southwestern community, Anna has served as a Nickel Club Board member, Alumni Board member, and now as Vice President of the Alumni Board. Having launched her own career through Southwestern’s externship program, she has supervised numerous legal externs over the years, offering students first-hand exposure to in-house counsel practice. Guided by her belief in “learning by doing,” she is excited about mentoring the next generation of attorneys and providing them with meaningful opportunities to explore the dynamic world of in-house counsel practice.
