Room W311
The California Dept. of Justice (DOJ) is the largest employer of attorneys in the executive branch. The A.G.’s Office is divided into three divisions: Criminal Law, Civil Law, and Public Rights. The DOJ hires both Graduate Legal Assistants (GLAs) and Deputy Attorneys General (DAGs). In addition, the DOJ has an excellent summer law clerk program. During our lunch time presentation, you will have the opportunity to hear from and meet with DOJ representatives with direct hiring authority and in charge of the summer program. The discussion will cover DOJ hiring and recruitment, including tips on applying and interviewing with government agencies.
