Professor Seigle began her legal career as an Associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (now Dentons) where her practice included civil litigation, intellectual property matters, privacy and data breach counseling, and white collar defense. In 2015, she became an IP Litigation Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman where her practice included Copyright and Trademark litigation and entertainment transactions, with a special focus on live events and touring productions. Professor Seigle was most recently Entertainment Legal & Business Affairs Counsel at Mattel, Inc., where she negotiated and managed a wide variety of deals related to content production and advertising, as well as live events and touring attractions.  

She received her B.A. from California State University, Northridge (’00), her M.F.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder (’03), and her J.D., summa cum laude, from Southwestern Law School (’12). While at Southwestern, Ms. Seigle served as Editor-in-Chief of the Southwestern Law Review,  was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, and was named a Biederman Scholar by the Biederman Entertainment and Media Law Institute.

Professor Seigle is the Vice-Chair of the Women Who Lead Advisory Board of the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel. From 2015 - 2016, she served as a member of the Law360 Entertainment and Media Law Editorial Advisory Board.  She is a member of the State Bar of California.
