A Special Event to Celebrate the Legacy of Mayor Tom Bradley

As part of the Mayor Tom Bradley Centennial Year Project, Southwestern Law School is hosting an event for Los Angeles Community College Students and Faculty on Friday, September 15, 2017, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the school’s campus.

The program, presented by The Tom and Ethel Bradley Foundation and Southwestern in collaboration with the Los Angeles Valley College Art Department, will feature:

  •  A brief documentary excerpt and discussion about the extraordinary career and contributions of Mayor Tom Bradley ’56, Los Angeles’ longest-serving and first African American mayor, with special guests Lorraine Bradley and other Bradley Foundation leaders
  •  
  • Information on the Tom Bradley Legacy Art Competition for Los Angeles Community College Students
  •  
  • An exclusive Tour of Southwestern’s historic Art Deco Bullocks Wilshire Building, one of Los Angeles’ most admired landmarks

There is no cost to attend. A light lunch will be served.
