Employment Discrimination Law covers the actual and potential prohibition of discrimination in the workplace based on race, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, language, and appearance. Although the course focuses on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it also touches on the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, and other federal and state anti-discrimination laws.
