Law
Students for Choice is a national organization committed to educating,
organizing and supporting pro-choice law students to ensure that a new
generation of lawyers will be prepared to successfully defend and expand
reproductive rights.
Reproductive
rights are under attack in the United
States - and from every conceivable angle. A
web of restrictive state laws criss-cross America, limiting the ability of
poor, the young, immigrants and minorities to access abortion, reproductive
health care services, and comprehensive information about reproductive health
care choices. New federal bills target teenagers, grant legal rights to fetuses
and unconstitutionally ban abortions procedures. If they pass, these new laws
will be reviewed by an overwhelming number of conservative federal judges
recently confirmed to the federal branch. As an advocate-in-training, we need
you to join the fight for reproductive justice!
