The Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) provides an informal atmosphere for students to interact socially, meet and establish contacts with members of the legal community, and heighten awareness of contemporary political issues.
We offer students the opportunity to share views with well-known academic and community leaders. Past activities have included guest speakers from various fields, discussion panels with 9th Circuit Judges, and a variety of other events.
In addition to activities on the Southwestern campus, members of the Jewish Law Students Association can participate in city-wide activities with students from other law schools through the Graduate Students' Network. Each law school campus affiliated with JLSA presents various speakers during the year and sponsors political and social events to which all students are invited.
Realizing that an active social life is an integral part of the law school experience, we plan a diverse social calendar. We welcome all of you to Southwestern and encourage you to join with us so that together we can make our law school experience the best it can be.
