Southwestern Law School Los Angeles, CA

Armed Forces Law Society

Being a public interest driven law school, what better way to serve the public than to serve your country or help the Veterans who served their nation. Armed Forces Law Society (AFLS) members have provided legal support to hundreds of Veterans in Los Angeles County and to other neighboring counties. Specifically, its members have provided legal intake support, legal research, and legal writing for the Los Angeles County Bar Association Veterans Pro Bono Project. Also, its members have become JAG and operational officers in the U.S. military. If the military or Veteransā€™ rights interest you, then please reach out to the AFLS.
The AFLS is a student organization dedicated to providing a meaningful experience to all Veterans, and to those students interested in military careers, whom attend Southwestern Law School. AFLS is committed to volunteering for projects that benefit Veterans in the County of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. In addition to its volunteer work, the organization provides various networking opportunities on and off-campus. AFLS provides Veterans attending Southwestern with materials and answers to any questions regarding their benefits and higher education.
