Southwestern has adopted a professional skills requirement pursuant to ABA Standard 302. Commencing with the entering class of Fall 2005, students must take and receive credit for a course which meets this requirement. This requirement must be fulfilled by a student taking a course which has been specifically approved and designated as meeting the professional skills requirement. The Faculty Curriculum Committee determines each year which courses meet the professional skills requirement.
