Symplicity

Throughout the year, the Career Services Office maintains extensive listings of current job openings within the legal profession, including full- and part-time positions for students and graduates, fellowship opportunities, internships, on-campus student research assistants, and other work study positions. In conjunction with Symplicity, a resume posting and job listing service, these openings are on-line and accessible via the Internet. With Symplicity, students and alumni may post their resume online and view job openings, and employers may submit job openings directly online from their computer.

Lawmatch

Lawmatch's National Directory of Legal Recruiters is an exhaustive compilation of U.S. search firms, recruiters and staffing companies that specialize in legal placement. It currently includes listings for over 350 placements firms in 37 markets nationwide, representing more than 700 individual recruiters, many of them former attorneys.

PSJD.org

The PSJD, formerly PSLawNet, database lists several thousand organizations throughout the United States with available public service opportunities ranging from part-time volunteer positions to full-time summer internships, post-graduate jobs and fellowships. Users can search the database by experience level, organization type, or practice areas. The database may be accessed at PSJD.org. For further information, contact the Career Services Office.

LawHelpCalifornia.org

LawHelpCalifornia.org is California's free website that helps the public find court programs, legal aid organizations, lawyer referral services, and self-help information. It's a great starting point for locating programs and attorneys dedicated to working with low-income clients, seniors, or persons with disabilities. Together with the Public Interest Clearinghouse, State Bar of California and the Administrative Office of the Courts, they have developed a comprehensive and accurate referral database of free and low-cost legal services in California, as well as a library of legal self-help resources.
