
How do I find my MAC Address?
Operating Systems: Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, NT and Mac OS
IPConfig Utility (Windows
98/ME/XP/2000/NT)
Macintoshes (OS 9 and OS X)
For PDA MAC address, please refer to your manual or consult with the manufacturer.
Go to the Start button. Select Run.
Type command into the Open box and click OK. This opens DOS (Command) Prompt window.
Type ipconfig /all |more (use shift key
along with the key above Enter for " | " character) and enter at the DOS prompt like
below:
(If you have multiple adapters you will see information for
each one. You can hit enter to view more if all data doesn't fit on screen)

/all |more Ethernet
adapter Wireless Network Connection: Ethernet

IMPORTANT: We need the 6 double digits that are located next to the Physical Address for your Wireless Adapter, and for your Local Area Adapter (If you have Local Area Adapter Card)

Macintoshes running OS 9 you can get the Airport Card MAC address by doing the following:
1. From the Apple Menu Control Panels, choose TCP/IP
2. From TCP/IP , choose connect via Airport (for Wireless) or Built in Ethernet
(for Ethernet card)
3. From the FILE Menu, choose Get Info
4 A dialog box will pop up.
5. The MAC address will be listed next to HARDWARE ADDRESS. It will look like 00

Macintoshes running OS X you can get the wireless MAC address by doing the following:
1. From the Apple Menu in the upper left choose System
Preferences.
2. Choose the Network Preferences and select Airport (for Wireless) or Built in
Ethernet (for Ethernet card) from the Show menu
3. The MAC address will be listed at the bottom of the TCP/IP tab as the
"Airport ID" or "Ethernet Address"
