Chau '92 Elected to California State Assembly

Alumnus Ed Chau '92 was elected in November 2012 to represent the 49th Assembly District in California. He was recently sworn in, and in this position, he will serve the communities of Alhambra, Arcadia, El Monte, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Temple City and portions of Montebello and South El Monte.

Growing up in a working class family, Mr. Chau learned the value of hard work and a good education early on. He attended local public schools and worked his way through college to become an engineer. A former Montebello School Board Member and small business owner, Mr. Chau has also served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
