Leading State Jurists to Preside Over Final Intramural Moot Court Rounds
At 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, Southwestern's top two oralists, selected earlier in the day, will present their arguments before five of the nation's leading jurists in the final round of the law school's 2004 Intramural Moot Court Competition. The event takes place at the Richard H. Chambers U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, 125 S. Grand Avenue, Pasadena. Presiding over the competition are: The Hon. Deborah Agosti, Supreme Court of Nevada; The Hon. Steven H. Levinson, Supreme Court of Hawaii; The Hon. Pamela Minzner, New Mexico Supreme Court; The Hon. Irma Raker, Maryland Court of Appeals; and The Hon. Albert M. Rosenblatt, New York State Court of Appeals.
The Semi-Final competition begins at 2 p.m. at the same venue, with six California jurists presiding: The Hon. Candace Cooper, California Court of Appeal; The Hon. Arthur M. Greenwald, United States Bankruptcy Court; The Hon. J. Gary Hastings, California Court of Appeal; The Hon. Erithe A. Smith, United States Bankruptcy Court; and The Hon. Andrew J. Wistrich, United States District Court, Central District of California.
