Dennis Yokoyama Named Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School
Dennis T. Yokoyama, graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., ’82), California State University (M.S., ‘87), and Loyola Law School (J.D., ’90), was granted tenure and promoted to Professor of Law at Southwestern University School of Law. The appointment acknowledges Professor Yokoyama’s exceptional teaching, scholarly research and writing, and service to Southwestern and the community.
A former associate at the Los Angeles office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, Professor Yokoyama joined Southwestern in 1992. He has served as director of the school’s Legal Research and Writing Program since 1995. He also teaches civil procedure, and serves as an advisor to the school’s chapter of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
