Professor Ramo's dedication to guide his students towards success is manifest in the teaching philosophy he has developed through his favorite poem "La Calle."

I walk in darkness

In a long and silent street

And I stumble and fall and pick myself up

And I step with blind feet

On the silent stones and dry leaves

And someone behind me also steps on them (the silent stones and dry leaves)

If I come to a stop, it stops too

If I run, it runs too

I turn to see: (there is) no one

Everything is dark and with no way out

And I turn and turn (different) (street) corners

And they always lead to the street

Where no one awaits me nor follows me

Where I follow a man that stumbles and picks himself up

And says when he sees me: "no one"

si me detengo, se detiene;

"While learning can feel and be lonely at times, and while you may stumble and feel lost, a good teacher is there with you all along and is that "someone" who is there in your seemingly lonely journey."
