The responsibilities of the Institutional Advancement Office are to raise funds for the law school and to coordinate alumni activities. These responsibilities are carried out through a variety of programs, including solicitation of all types of gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations through proposals, personal solicitations, and the Annual Fund, maintenance of alumni information, and coordination of alumni events and programs. The department also coordinates the fundraising efforts of the Friends of Bullocks Wilshire.
