Ashley Smolic

Ashley Smolic earned her bachelor’s degree in Writing, Literature and Publishing and Political Communication from Emerson College. She worked as a journalist in Beijing for the Olympic News Service during the 2008 Summer Olympics. She is a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program at Southwestern, having most recently competed in and won the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition. She is also the Social Networking Chair for the Women’s Law Association. The areas of interest within the law for this 2013 juris doctor candidate include criminal law, copyright infringement, entertainment law and any type of litigation.
