Description

This course studies the similarities and differences between Latin American legal systems and those of the U.S. The course will focus on Argentine constitutional law, emphasizing the development of Argentina’s legal and political institutions and how Argentine constitutional and administrative practice differs from that of the U.S. Additionally, the course will examine the organization of civil law, the general theory of obligations law under which the civil law operates, and specific problems in the areas of contracts, torts, products liability, property, family law, trusts and estates.
