Description

This course emphasizes both the common law and crimes and the major statutory and case law changes which reflect present legislative and appellate court attitudes. Offenses against the person, property and habitation are intensively covered, and the concepts of individual and group responsibility are explored. Special attention is also devoted to the corpus delicti, causation, limitations on criminal capacity, special and general defenses, and those mental states which are of more importance in substantive criminal law.
