Negotiation (Winter Intersession)

This course will examine the concept of negotiation skill and strategy. It will require students to explore the theoretical context of the strategy behind creating opportunities to benefit all parties and principled versus interest based bargaining. The course will use the Getting to Yes text as a foundation for skills based exercises. Students will be required to engage in negotiating various agreements and have the opportunity to draft settlement agreements.
