Employment Law (Mini-term)

This course serves as an overview of Employment Law. It will focus on individual employee rights, rather than collective bargaining. About half of the course will be spent on Employment Discrimination with a focus on Title VII and the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution. The course will also cover the development of the employment at-will rule, defining the employer-employee relationship, workplace privacy and speech rights, and family and medical leave.

This course is not open to students who have taken Employment Law Survey or Employment Discrimination Law.
