Description

This course explores the law of nonprofit organizations. The course examines many aspects of nonprofits including the policy behind their special tax advantages, their formation and form selection, their purposes and powers, their operation and governance, the regulation of charitable solicitation, and the requirements to qualify for tax-exempt status.
